currently…

…loving the way these two are interacting with each other lately. The other day Sadie was laughing at something and Charlotte started and then they both just laughed at each other for, like five whole minutes.ย

…this little miss is starting solids. She loves them so far. har har. Well, she’s now doing better than the picture above…at least she’s learned to swallow, so that’s progress, right?

…done Christmas shopping! hooray! And done with wrapping! Sad day!

…working on a felt food tutorial that would be a great gift or stocking stuffer…look for that later in the week.

…working on my Christmas book collection. I have a few more I’ve picked up thrifting since I took this picture. I love second hand Christmas books, they’re almost always in great condition cause they only get used once a year! Though, we have 3 copies of The Night before Christmas…hmm.
…finished up the girls Christmas dresses yesterday-look for a post on them soon, too! I love how they turned out.
…having a blast playing with my new Silhouette! I got one for a great deal on Cyber Monday last month-couldn’t pass it up what with all the awesomeness and inspiration floating around blog land I’ve been seeing! So far I love the heat transfer material-will definitely be showing off a few projects I’ve done with that stuff soon too. So really, this is a teaser post. Sorry!
…So excited that Christmas is next week! My sister comes out from Utah next week and I can’t wait to see her.ย
What has you excited these days?

  10. Love those chubby cheeks!
Thought you might like to see the play kitchen that we finished using your design. I love it so much and I’m so glad you posted so much information about the one your Dad built!

  11. Ohh, I got a silhouette! It won’t be here till I get back from vacation, but I can’t wait to rip into the box and get it started! I’m SO SO excited about that! Though, right now both my kids are horribly sick so I don’t have any time to get anything done besides cleaning up after them and trying to keep them hydrated. I’m excited to see your silhouette stuff.

  12. they are so cute! I love it! I just cannot WAIT until my girls start interacting. For a one month old, Olivia is VERY interactive – she first looked at Nicole and smiled at less than a week old. (and then I squealed and startled them both lol) but it’s when she is sturdy enough that I can leave them sitting on the floor together that I’m really looking forwards to! And the chain reaction giggle spells.

I’m going to pretend that when Olivia and Nicole are nearing that level of interaction I’m gonna be at least half as productive as you. ๐Ÿ˜€

  13. They are so cute! Excited to see their little dresses. ๐Ÿ™‚

  19. I discovered your blog while searching out tutorials for making Barbie clothes. I got one for my daughter for this Christmas and wanted some ideas of making clothes myself.

Also, I like the blog. Looks like a good mix of different crafts and most in my taste.

  20. Just curious, how long ago did you get your Silhouette? I ordered mine on Cyber Monday too and still haven’t received it. I’m getting anxious!

  21. Hello!
You have beautiful collection of Christmas Books. I have some of them, too ๐Ÿ™‚ My daughter’s favourite book is Richard Scarry’s Christmas Mice. It’s the best of our Christmas books
