a few new dresses

I know, I know, clothing is always cuter when modeled…but Sadie’s napping, so it will have to wait. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I got my sewing machine back last night, and after trying to decide which project to work on first, I started a new one. Of course.

I wanted to make a sundress, with some little pleats and bias tape trim…it turned out pretty darn cute I think, and turned out to be a pretty quick sewing project.

Here’s the project that broke my machine two weeks ago. ( I won’t hold it against you, pink dress) I love the bow!

Pics of model Sadie coming soon (ish)

  1. They are both gorgeous! Are they made from patterns or are you just that clever??

  2. I used a template/pattern I made from clothing that fits Sadie…and then winged it. So I guess I’m a little bit clever! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  3. Well that doesn’t help the rest of us not so clever people! They are both so cute, I am making some dresses atm and they all have big, pretty bows. I can’t decide which one of your two dresses I like the best ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. How adorable! I love the one with the bias tape; so elegant and whimsical!

  5. Just gorgeous! I love the sundress, so pretty and the simplicity is what made it special ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. Very happy for you that you have your Machine back and finished the offending dress. I must say it is sure cute as is the sundress!

  7. Ooo, I love them! Especially the second one! Love the fabric!

  8. They look great! I need to get busy sewing today for my 3 girls’ Easter outfits! I think I am doing skirts but all these cute ideas sidetrack me!
