wicked

wow. it was amazing! i loved it, especially the music. not all of it, but most of it. the actors were very good, we had glinda’s understudy, and she was mostly great, she got a little winded during “popular” and you could tell, but elphaba and fiyero were awesome! we were in the balcony (second row) but of course we sat behind the. most. annoying. guy. ever. he kept leaning forward in our way, or propping his hands on his feet which were propped up on the balcony rail. URG. i asked him near the beginning if he could sit back (very nicely, more nicely than i wanted to), but he kept doing it. one of the women he was with (mother?) kept reminding him, thankfully. i still want to sit in the mezzanine at least next time i see something in a theater.

rory liked it but couldn’t stop thinking about how expensive it was. that’s my guy. oh well. next time i will go to a show with joanna and he can go see four movies. lol.

to recap:

wicked: awesome
hearing rory complain about how expensive it was: not so awesome
