Phew!

So, we took off Wednesday morning around eight (we actually got off on time!), and started the what was supposed to be 9 hour trip, but really was 13 and a half. We took some stops, of course for Sadie, but also for Harry and David! They have a big store up in Medford Oregon that we had to stop at! I worked at the store here in Gilroy for two years during high school. We stocked up!

Sadie’s not so sure about this giant moose!

The front, isn’t that truck awesome?

So, we spent the trip sleeping, eating, watching Friends and playing Mario Kart. We got there around 9:30, met Stephanie’s family looking oh so scraggly, and then we headed off for our hotel. The next morning we headed back for breakfast cooked by Steph and Jarom, it was yummy guys! We spent the day lolly gagging, getting ready for the wedding, a little thrifting, and some shopping. We also went for a walk down by the river near their house.

What a gorgeous tree, huh? Not all of us are here, and Janae and Jarom were taking the pictures, but here’s some.

The happily-almost-married-couple!

Rory really liked the rivers!

Sadie entertained herself…while I felt sick. (I was still recovering although thankfully felt better each day.)

Mom made Sadie a cute daisy chain wreath!

…and Sadie tried to steal the RV.

Later that night the Mitchells hosted a Bunco night and Hawaiian haystacks dinner, which was scrumptious! Bunco is fun when you have a crazy fun crowd…I didn’t get any pictures of that cause I was having too much fun! On to the wedding day! It was so nice to see my little brother get married in the temple to his sweetie, and they were both so glowy and happy the whole day!

See?

So smiley~!
Where’s Julia? I don’t know…here’s our cute dresses/selves!

Her colors were soo cute, brown and pink, and her bouquet was soo pretty! Courtenay (her sister) made it and all the bridesmaids bouquets, they were so pretty, Thanks Court!

While they were taking some niece/nephew shots, Oliver, Nate and Amy’s 7 month old little boy, tried to steal Sadie’s headband! She was not too happy, but it sure made for some funny pictures!

Portland Temple is TALL!

Our bouquets!
Setting up the perfect shot…notice how close I am to the edge of the fountain… too close…do you see where I’m going here?

I lost my balance and ker-ploosh! My right foot totally got soaked! It was pretty funny actually, and dried pretty quick.

After we drove back, we threw a mini-present and cake party for Joanna, whose birthday she now shares with Jarom and Steph’s anniversary! (embarassing picture coming later…)

cutting the cake…
daddy-daughter dance…

Sadie had fun….for the most part…she didn’t nap much so she was a wreck by the end of the day usually.

Of course we had to pretty up his car!

Do you think they liked it?

Pretty candles…and pretty girls!

Thanks for sticking through to the end…I know it was a lot of pictures, but it was a blast! BTW, I have some pictures and videos from AFTER the reception when we had a sing off. Yes…it’s what it sounds like. There was some cross dressing and shennanigans going on…it was hilarious!
