Our almost-home

Well, we got another email from our real estate lady today. A good one! She said that the first lender did their appraisal and was happy with the price. Now we are just waiting on the second lender. She also said that the listing agent thinks we will get final approval this week or next! This is good news for us as we had kind of given up hope a little bit. Hopefully within a week, we will know (FOR SURE) if we have the house! Then we can start making our plans and packing up to move into our new house for the start of our new family! I can't wait! (still don't want to get my hopes up) Woo-hoo!

I love baby clothes!

Well, who doesn't really? Ok, my husband doesn't. Probably most husbands just don't care! Ever since I found out it was a girl I have gone a little crazy! I just can't resist the cute little girl clothes they have these days! I also have discovered how cute baby books are! Here are a few things I got, just to show you how cute they are!

I heart cupcakes!

These have a little cherry stitched on the bottom!

So...sweet!

Our first (cat) child

So last night we went to get a bigger scratching post for Ally because she grew out of the old one we got her and she likes the couches better now. This scratching post is huge! Anyways, she jumped up on top, and it was pretty funny how much she wobbled around til she jumped off. hehe. That's it. Just a funny video of our cat child. :-D

MORE waiting.....

We got an email today again from our real estate agent. The townhouse appraisal was done finally, so now we are being held up in the (sellers) lenders review committee. They are saying 7-10 days for an answer....FINALLY. At least now there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Dim as it may be. Hopefully it will be good news for us, but either way, once we find out if we got it or not, we can make our plans...cause I want to move before the baby comes...and before I get bigger! So, anyways....keep crossing your fingers for us!

It's a baby..........girl!

Yes, we are having a baby girl! I am due August 3rd, which makes me just over 16 weeks. We are soo excited, but waited this long to say anything because we were paranoid. :-) Luckily, nothing to be paranoid about! We had our ultra sound today and it's a girl! I was worried that we wouldn't be able to find out because the baby would be curled up, too small, yada yada. Thankfully we found out, because we were both dying to know. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE thought this baby was a boy. The only people who thought it was a girl was my sister Julia, Rory, and my grandparents. Even I thought it was a boy! We had a boys name all picked out and I had my nursery ideas in my head. lol. Obviously she thought it was pretty funny I guess. PSYCH! She's a girl. haha. We are so ecstatic and can't wait. It's been a long road to get this far, but we are so excited to be here and to share it with the world now! Here are some of the ultrasound pics from today.

Just chillin'

I think she's either singing or smiling or goo-goo-gaa-gaa-ing.

Some good news

We heard from our real estate agent (broker?) today that the bank in charge of approving or denying our short sale townhouse is sending an appraiser this week. She said hopefully we will get an answer later this week or early next week. Thank goodness! The moment I told Rory that, I said "this week is going to be unbearable". He agreed. At least then we will be able to decided where to go from here. Please cross your fingers, pray, or just think good thoughts for us this week! hehe.

My brother's back!

Jarom's back from his mission to England! Yay! He flew in late last night, (like, late. 10 at night!) We were waiting for all the people to come down the corridor, and he was almost last! It took forever for him to show up. People were saying, oh he's right behind us...but he wasn't! Oh well. So here we are standing with some balloons and a huge sign. People were giving us some looks! It was pretty funny. So finally he comes down the way! We started cheering and waving, like he COULDN"T see us. In a nutshell, he seemed a little shell shocked from the flight, the time change, the different accents, and the fact that he was "STARVING" in his own words. He looked taller, and skinnier, and he was talking really quietly because his ears were plugged. hehe. We all got our hugs, gathered his luggage and headed to the place he had been dreaming about for 2 years. In n' Out! So anyways, we're headed down today to spend some quality time with the fam and Jarom of course. So I will post more details later! Here are some pics of last night for now!

Everyone standing around staring at him.
