My growing girl…

So today was Sadie’s two month appointment at the doctor’s, although she’s really 2 1/2 months. Oh, the politics. She weighs 12 lbs 3 oz now and is 23 and something inches tall! Yay for Sadie! I am so grateful that she is happy and healthy. The sad part of the day was when she had to get her shots. What kind of sick person likes to stab people…nay…BABIES..with needles for a living? Oh well, at least she was pretty quick with her torturous task. Rory was kind enough to hold her…I can handle needles in myself ok, but not my little bebe! She of course cried, although Mommy cried a little longer I think. lol. She’s doing better now, after a long Tylenol influenced nap and cuddle with Mommy. And then another nap. Poor thing.

This picture is from yesterday, before she got stuck with the needles. Hence the smile!

  1. Love her smile. Poor girl! I hate when they have to get poked! Ella had her two month appt. the other day, too. She’s 12 lbs. 11 oz. and 23 inches. It’s so funny that Ella and Sadie are always (almost) the same size! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I’m glad Sadie is feeling better now!

  2. Funny, my mom and I just talked about South Valley (Now St. Louise) Hospital today. I have some bat earrings I got from the gift shop after a blood test ๐Ÿ™‚ I feel ya, Sadie girl!

As far as signs on Prop 8 go, I got a note on my windshield (surprising since the central valley is very Republican, all the aggies) at the mall. Guess they loved my bumper sticker.
It said, “No on Prop 8! Let other people have the same freedom YOU do!” Pretty funny: that’s why I’m voting yes! ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Thanks for entering the Mabel’s House contest to win my debut suspense novel, SISTERS OF MISERY! Even if you don’t win, I hope you get a chance to read and enjoy it!
